AAOS Briefing on MACRA

Washington, DCThe American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) will host a briefing on the recently-released Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) proposed rule.

Members of Congress, staff, and others are invited to attend a briefing on the MACRA legislation on May 31st at 12pm in the Budget Committee Hearing Room (210 Cannon). Dr. Barber will discuss the legislation that was signed into law in April 2015, as well as the recent proposed rule released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Specific topics include registries, implications for small practices and rural areas, and the new Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs).
